Circle Of Concern

Today & Tomorrow

May 2009 started a new chapter in the history of Circle Of Concern. For the first time Circle operated from a building that was built specifically for the functions of the food pantry.

The new center is 2.5 times larger then the old building, giving Circle three times the space in the pantry and in conjunction with the renovated warehouse there are more then 4,000 sq. ft. of on-site food storage space.

The LEED-certified building provides more private interviewing rooms for clients and better office space for the volunteers and staff.

Killeen Studio Architects designed the new center. After completion of the building the old facility was demolished to accommodate a new landscaped parking area between the warehouse and new building.

In 2008 Circle Of Concern launched the Today & Tomorrow campaign to raise the funds to pay for the new center. This is the first major capital campaign in Circle’s history. Today & Tomorrow gifts will only be used to pay for the new building.

All friends of Circle are encouraged to visit the new center.

New Building Stats:

6,750 sq feet
5 Client Interview Rooms (as opposed to 3)
Special Projects Room
18 Person Conference Room
Walk-In Freezer/Cooler
Extra Pantry Storage.
