VOLUNTEERING
Circle Of Concern utilizes the support of dedicated individuals to implement the collection and distribution of food and other items to the families we serve. With a small staff, Circle relies on the volunteers to perform many of the daily tasks. Volunteers answer the phones, interview the clients, accept donations, bag & distribute groceries, organize our programs and pay bills.
With a unique hours of operation, Circle can provide variety and flexibility that can accommodate any schedule for volunteers. Shifts range from 2-6 hours in length and can be as often as once a week to once a month or just on an as-needed basis.
Circle also has opportunities for students seeking service hours or individuals who have been court appointed to do community service. Episodic volunteers must be 12 years of age or older and due to training procedures individuals must committ to a minimum of 12 hours of service. Opportunities for episodic volunteering are limited, so individuals seeking hours by a certain deadline are encouraged to apply as soon as possible.
