About Circle of Concern Food Pantry
Many are surprised to learn that there’s a food pantry in west St. Louis County.
And yet, Circle’s roots are in west St. Louis County, a part of the St. Louis metropolitan area known for beautiful homes, corporate headquarters, good schools and a thriving business community; It is also home to families that struggle every day to make ends meet. Low wages, lay-offs, illness or injury, old age and more – many families in our area find themselves urgently in need of assistance.
Now serving four west St. Louis County school districts as well as areas of Jefferson County, Circle of Concern provides wholesome foods and host of other services to more than 1,200 households annually.
Our motto is, “Feeding families is just the beginning.” We know that when a family is struggling to put food on the table, there are likely other needs as well. So, we offer wraparound support for eligible households: wholesome foods, emergency rent and utility assistance, counseling, career mentorship, scholarships, kid programs and more! These services, combined with the encouraging support of a dedicated community of volunteers and experienced staff members, help families move from crisis and uncertainty toward stability and hopefulness.
